Everest Base Camp Trek – Journey to the Roof of the World
The Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most iconic and sought-after trekking experiences in the Himalayas. Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak at 8,848 meters, sits on the border between Nepal and China (Tibet). Known as Sagarmatha in Nepal and Chomolungma in Tibet, Everest has fascinated adventurers for generations.
This trek follows in the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay, who first summited Everest in 1953. As you journey through the heart of the Khumbu Valley, you’ll gradually acclimatize while enjoying some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery on Earth. The region is home to four of the world’s six tallest peaks—Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu.
Along the way, experience Sherpa culture firsthand. Meet the world-renowned Sherpa guides, visit centuries-old monasteries, and discover Buddhist monuments, carved mani walls, and stone stupas. Explore the World Heritage-listed Sagarmatha National Park, home to unique Himalayan flora and fauna, and enjoy the warmth and hospitality of the local people.
A trek highlight is Kala Patthar (5,550m), just a two-hour climb from Gorakshep, offering an unmatched panoramic view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Changtse, and the Khumbu Glacier. From cozy lodges to luxury accommodations, the trek combines adventure with comfort.
Millions dream of witnessing these majestic peaks. Let us help you turn that dream into reality by planning a personalized Everest Base Camp Trek that matches your expectations.

Overview
The Mount Everest Base Camp Trek begins and ends in Lukla. From there, the journey follows the banks of the Dudh Koshi River, winding through the breathtaking landscapes of Sagarmatha National Park on the way to Namche Bazaar. Namche, the main trading hub of the Everest region, is also a key acclimatization stop for trekkers preparing for higher altitudes.
The trail can be challenging, but the stunning scenery—lush forests, terraced farmland, rolling hills, and towering mountains—keeps your spirits high.
