Founder – Hari Bahadur Bista
Hari Bahadur Bista is the Founder of Alpine Master Plan Treks, a dedicated tourism professional with nearly two decades of hands-on experience in Nepal’s trekking and adventure tourism industry.
He was born in Dhading District, Nilkantha Municipality–11, Jyamrung, where his deep connection with nature and the mountains began at an early age. He completed his school education at Shree Achane Higher Secondary School (SLC).
Hari Bahadur Bista started his tourism journey in 2006 with World Heritage Trek & Expedition. His very first trekking experience in life was as a porter, trekking from Jiri to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo, which became a life-changing moment. He worked as a porter for two years (2006–2009), gaining real ground experience and understanding the true challenges of mountain trekking.
During his porter years, he trekked extensively across major trekking regions of Nepal, including the Everest Region, Annapurna Region, Langtang Region, Manaslu Region, Dhaulagiri Region, and many other remote Himalayan areas.
In 2009, he joined Corsa Nepal Adventure, where he continued to grow professionally. He obtained his official trekking guide license in 2011 and worked as a licensed guide until 2015, leading treks for international clients with dedication and care.
After the devastating 2015 earthquake, he joined Orbit Nepal Adventure, working as a guide and tour operator. Over the years, he has served travelers from many different nationalities, gaining deep knowledge of customer service, cultural understanding, trip planning, and safety management.
With over 20 years of field experience, Hari Bahadur Bista decided to establish his own company, Alpine Master Plan Treks, with a vision to provide safe, honest, and memorable trekking and travel experiences in Nepal. His journey from porter to company founder reflects his hard work, patience, and love for the mountains.
Today, he leads Alpine Master Plan Treks with strong values, local expertise, and a commitment to responsible tourism—ensuring every guest experiences Nepal’s Himalayas in a meaningful and safe way.
