Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, where you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax, recover from your journey, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, enjoying breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks. From Lukla, begin your trek through lush forests and traditional Sherpa villages, reaching Chutanga (3,020 m) by evening for your first night in the mountains.

Today, you’ll trek through rugged Himalayan terrain, ascending to the scenic Zatrwa La Pass at 4,610 m. From the pass, continue your journey down to Thuli Kharka (4,300 m / 14,107 ft), a high-altitude meadow surrounded by stunning mountain views, where you’ll spend the night.

Begin your trek from the peaceful meadows of Thuli Kharka, gradually descending and traversing scenic trails lined with Himalayan landscapes. Arrive at Kote (4,182 m) by evening, a charming high-altitude settlement, where you’ll rest and prepare for the higher-altitude climbs ahead.

Today’s trek follows the serene Inkhu River, offering spectacular views of snow-capped peaks and remote Himalayan landscapes. Ascend gradually to reach Thaknak (4,358 m) by evening, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by the peaceful high-altitude scenery.

Take a well-deserved rest at Thaknak (4,358 m) to recover and acclimatize. Use this day to relax, enjoy the stunning Himalayan surroundings, and prepare your body for the upcoming climb. Optional short hikes nearby can help with further acclimatization.

Begin your ascent from Thaknak, trekking through rugged Himalayan terrain with panoramic mountain views. Gradually gain altitude as you reach Khare (5,000 m), a high-altitude base camp that serves as the gateway to Mera Peak. Spend the evening resting and acclimatizing in preparation for the climb ahead.

Today, you’ll trek from Khare to Mera Peak Base Camp at 5,300 m, passing through rocky trails and dramatic high-altitude landscapes. Spend the afternoon acclimatizing, resting, and taking in the spectacular views of surrounding peaks as you prepare for the summit attempt.

Begin your climb from Base Camp, steadily ascending through steep, rocky terrain toward Mera High Camp at 5,780 m. Take time to acclimatize along the way and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan giants. Overnight at High Camp prepares you for an early summit attempt.

Start early for the final push to the summit of Mera Peak, reaching 6,461 m / 21,197 ft. Celebrate your achievement with breathtaking panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and other Himalayan giants. After the summit, carefully descend back to Khare (5,000 m) for an overnight stay and rest.

Begin your descent from Khare, retracing the scenic trails through the high-altitude landscapes you crossed earlier. Enjoy the views of mountains and valleys as you make your way down to Kote (4,182 m), where you’ll spend the night and rest after the challenging climb.

Continue your descent through the beautiful Hinku Valley, passing through alpine meadows and scenic trails. Arrive at Thulikharka (4,300 m) by evening, where you’ll rest and enjoy the serene high-altitude surroundings after several days of trekking and climbing.

Today, retrace your steps as you ascend briefly to Zatrwa La Pass (4,610 m) for stunning views of the surrounding peaks, then begin the long descent to Lukla (2,840 m). Enjoy the changing landscapes along the way and arrive in Lukla by evening for an overnight stay, marking the near end of your trekking journey.

Take an early morning flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu, enjoying breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayas along the way. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the vibrant capital city.

Enjoy a free day in Kathmandu to relax, explore, or shop at local markets. You can also visit cultural and historical sites, such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, or Patan Durbar Square, soaking in the rich heritage of Nepal’s capital.

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight. Bid farewell to Nepal, taking with you unforgettable memories of your Mera Peak adventure and the breathtaking Himalayas.
