This moderately challenging trek begins at Nangi Village (2,260m), situated between Beni and Poon Hill. Nangi is gaining recognition as a sustainable and eco-friendly community, providing locals with vocational training in sustainable agriculture and supporting a small cottage industry that produces handmade paper.

From there, the trail leads to Khopra Village (3,660m), perched just north of Ghorepani. This remote village offers some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Massifs, with the Dhaulagiri range stretching an impressive 120 km.

The Annapurna Khopra Ridge Trek usually begins with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Birethanti, where your trekking adventure starts. The trail first takes you through Tikhedhunga to Ulleri, and then onward to Ghorepani.
